Sarnia-area family conquers cross-county trek for kidney disease

Members of the Wright family from Corunna will be icing their feet for the next few days, following a 100 kilometre trek across Sarnia-Lambton in support of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Kim and Paul Wright, and their 16-year-old daughter, Alaina, wrapped up their cross-county journey Sunday afternoon under the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward.

The three were assisted by 13-year-old Abby Wright, and Kim's parents, Brenda and Wayne Freer.

The family, taking part in their third Kidney March, raised over $7,200 for this year's event.
