The local COVID-19 caseload is up by five.
On its website Sunday night, Lambton Public Health reported 326 confirmed cases as well as 288 resolved cases, up by two from Saturday night.
Lambton Medical Officer of Health Dr. Sudit Ranade said close contacts in family settings is a factor.
"We've had seven cases since Friday; a lot of these are from close contacts, families gathering, things like that, that we're seeing, and we've had 11 people recovered -- so we're at 288 recoveries, so still a lot of people recovering after the 14 days, which is really good -- and a broad range of ages in the new set of cases; kids all the way up to older folks."
The death toll stands at 25, unchanged in over two months, and there's currently 13 active cases.
The health unit said 76 per cent of the new cases reported within the last two weeks, have been linked to a known source.
Bluewater Health reported on its website Monday that it has no patients confirmed with COVID-19 in hospital. There are 18 patients waiting for test results, including pre-surgical screening.
