A recent commercial vehicle blitz in north Lambton resulted in a quarter of the checked vehicles being taken off the road.
Lambton OPP and the transportation ministry conducted the blitz in Grand Bend Tuesday.
Police say there were 42 inspections with 11 vehicles being taken out of service.
There were 10 charges laid and two plates removed.
The environment ministry also conducted eight fuel inspections with no infractions being found.
