High water levels and flooding have forced the closure of Venetian Boulevard in Point Edward.
Sunday evening the village closed the road to traffic between Sunbridge Hotel and the north entrance to Bridgeview Marina until further notice.
Village and county staff are working to resolve the issue.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area for the time being.
