Point Edward firefighters helped rescue two people from the St. Clair River beneath the Blue Water Bridge Tuesday night.
They responded to reports of a capsized fishing boat with occupants in the water just after 10 p.m.
The department said the boat's two occupants had been picked up by a recreational vessel in the area and brought ashore.
Point Edward Fire towed the capsized boat to Sarnia Bay Marina and transferred possession to the Sarnia fire department.
No injuries were reported.
