An Alvinston postal worker and mother of two is celebrating a $100,000 ENCORE win.
Rebecca Johnston, 32, matched the last six of seven numbers in the exact order in the April 3 LOTTO MAX draw.
“When I realized I won, I announced it out loud in the store!” she said. “The clerk didn’t believe me, so I had him scan my ticket and the terminal locked! The longer I stood there, the win sunk in and I started to accept this exciting reality.”
Johnston says she plans to pay off her student loans and her vehicle, with the rest going towards a down payment for a house.
“The timing of this has been impeccable for me. I feel lucky and blessed to be in this moment. It’s so exciting, and this win brings so much stability to my life and for my family."
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Front Street in Strathroy.
