COVID curve stays flat

Sarnia-Lambton hasn't seen a COVID-19 death in nearly three weeks.

The community's 25th fatality came back on June 6, the 10th COVID-death connected to an outbreak at Vision Nursing Home.

That outbreak came to an end one week ago after a total of 54 confirmed cases, which included 28 staff and 26 residents.

Thursday night's updated COVID figures from Lambton Public Health were unchanged from the previous 24 hours -- 285 confirmed cases and 249 recovered cases.

Since June 15, Bluewater Health has not had any COVID-positive patients. There are currently 20 patients suspected of having the virus with tests pending.
