Two men wanted after man stabbed several times

Sarnia police have issued arrest warrants for two men wanted in connection with an incident Sunday night that resulted in a man being stabbed several times.

At about 10 p.m. June 14, a 34-year-old man in a home with a 31-year-old woman, allowed two individuals at the door into the residence in the 100 block of Essex Street.

Police allege that once inside, the two suspects began to assault the male and one of them threatened the woman with a large knife, ordering her to stay away.

During the struggle the male victim was stabbed several times and was listed in serious but stable condition in hospital.

The suspects took some property and then left.

Joshua Allen Spero (aka Chase Venema), 34, of Sarnia is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, robbery, robbery with violence, uttering threats, assault with a weapon, and breach of probation.

Todd Wayne Campbell, 31, of Sarnia is wanted for aggravated assault, robbery, and breach of probation.

Police said the incident was not random and all parties knew each other.
