A 30-year-old Corunna man faces impaired driving and drug possession charges and a cyclist was sent to hospital with minor injuries, following a collision in St. Clair Township Sunday morning.
Lambton OPP and EMS responded to the intersection of Fane Street and Lyndoch Street at around 8:15 a.m.
Police said the driver of the motor vehicle was showing signs of impairment, and that following a search of the suspect and vehicle, police located drug paraphernalia. A further search of two other occupants located suspected meth, leading to the arrest of all three parties.
Along with the suspect from Corunna, police charged a 26-year-old from Aamjiwnaang First Nation with possession and failing to comply with an undertaking. A 25-year-old from St. Clair Township is also charged with possession.
All accused are scheduled to appear in court this summer.
