Wyoming Minor Baseball not proceeding with 2020 season

The Wyoming Minor Baseball Association has put the 2020 season on hold for the time being due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a release issued Monday, the association said its executive committee voted unanimously not to proceed with this year's Wrangler & Lady Wrangler season, adding it reserves the right to create a shortened season, if possible, at a later date.

All levels from beginner to Midget will be affected by the cancellation, and all players will receive a refund for 2020 registration and fundraising fees.

“While we understand that this decision is disappointing, safety comes first. WMBA will continue to monitor the regulations set by OBA/PWSA," said President Matt Helps. "If and when it’s possible to return we could see some baseball activities later this summer. If not, we hope to see everyone back ready to play in 2021."
