After a shutdown last week, NOVA Chemicals Corunna is in the process of starting up the Olefins Unit.
NOVA Chemicals experienced a disruption in one of its production units at the Corunna site, which forced the controlled shutdown to investigate and make necessary repairs.
In an e-mail to BlackburnNews.com Monday, the company said the start-up will take place over the next two to three days.
Residents may notice elevated flaring and increased noise during the process.
