Signs of appreciation for pandemic workers at marinas

The operator and workers at Sarnia Bay and Bridgeview marinas have sent a big thank you to the community's front-line pandemic heroes.

Dave Brown said he and his teams quietly constructed and erected very noticeable thank you signs at Sarnia's Andrew S. Brandt Marina and Bridgeview Marina in Point Edward.

"It literally took almost two weeks behind the scenes, we were trying to keep it as quiet as possible to surprise the community," said Brown. "My teams at Sarnia Bay and Bridgeview simply did a phenomenal job putting this whole signage up. It's large enough, it's high enough that everyone can notice it and it simply is in my view phenomenal for the community."

Brown said essential workers are putting their lives on the line for everyone else.

"It's inspirational for me on a day-to-day basis to see these people standing up and working for all of us to make sure that we are safe, we are healthy and looked after. It's heartwarming for myself and my teams to say thank you to them and the entire community."

Brown said the response to the signs from the community has been overwhelming.
