COVID-19 recoveries rise again in Sarnia-Lambton

Another 10 Sarnia-Lambton residents have recovered from COVID-19.

Lambton Public Health updated its site Sunday night to say there were now a total of 120 recovered cases, up from 110 the night before. The agency said 24 people have recovered over the past two days.

Over 60 per cent of the 189 total confirmed cases are now recovered.

The health unit said it has received the results from 2,759 tests, of which 93 per cent have come back negative.

No deaths related to the virus have been reported since April 20 and the death toll remains at 14.

There was no change over the weekend in the numbers at Sarnia's three institutional outbreaks, Landmark Village, Vision Nursing Home, and Sumac Lodge.

Bluewater Health reported Monday morning that nine people are in hospital with the virus and 22 patients are suspected of having it with tests pending.
