Motorcycle driver seriously hurt in Saturday crash

A 36-year-old man is in serious condition after a motorcycle and truck collided at Plank Road and Kimball Road early Saturday afternoon.

Sarnia police, along with Sarnia Fire and Rescue and Lambton EMS, responded at around 1:40 p.m.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle suffered significant injuries. He was rushed by ambulance to Chris Hadfield Airport and then airlifted to London hospital for treatment.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

A Sarnia police collision reconstructionist, and members of the Identification and Criminal Investigation Branch were also on scene for several hours.
