Another five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton

Another five cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Sarnia-Lambton Saturday morning.

Lambton Public Health updated its website at 9 a.m. to show a total of 68 cases but the number of deaths remained the same at seven.

There were 33 people self-isolating and two were listed as recovered.

Details about the five new cases weren't immediately known.

As of Friday, there were 15 confirmed cases at Sarnia's Landmark Village retirement home, nine residents and six staff.

Four of the area's seven deaths are linked to the facility.

Bluewater Health reported Saturday morning that it had 28 patients in hospital confirmed to have the virus and 18 suspected of having it with tests pending.
