Second person charged in triple fatality in Lambton

A second person has been charged in connection with a crash that killed three people in Lambton County last October.

October 4 at around 1:30 a.m., Lambton OPP, EMS and the Oil Springs and Dawn-Euphemia fire departments responded to a single vehicle crash on Oil Heritage Road between Aberfeldy Line and Gum Bed Line.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Lambton OPP say further investigation has revealed another vehicle was involved.

Police say Sehajpreet Singh, 20, of India was arrested on March 4 and is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle. He's scheduled to appear in court on April 20.

The driver of the other car, Jovanpreet Singh of Windsor, was charged previously with three counts of dangerous operation causing death, dangerous operation causing bodily harm, three counts of criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm and obstructing a peace officer.

His next court appearance is April 6.
