Legionnaires swept by Nationals

The Legionnaires fell to the Nationals at Sarnia Arena on Sunday 4-1.

After a scoreless first period, Jake Vince put the Legionnaires on the board with the first goal of the night in the second period. The Nationals followed up with a goal by Cohen Kiteley.

The two teams went into the third period tied 1-1. However, London came back in the third with three goals by Michael Boushy, Josh Castle, and Kiteley.

Sarnia goaltender Nolan DeKoning made 28 saves of 32 shots on net, while London's goalie Brock Baier made 24 saves of 25 shots.

The London Nationals will go on to the second round of the GOJHL playoffs, however, it's too early to tell which team they will face.
