Sarnia native Julia Greenshields and the Canadian women's rugby team won a silver medal at this year's World Rugby Sevens from Sydney.
The Canadians took down the US, Fiji, Brazil and the tournament hosts, Australia, before falling to New Zealand’s Black Ferns 33-7 in Sunday's final. Team Canada has now reached the podium in four straight tournaments.
Greenshields, a 27-year-old former Sarnia Saint rugby player, has been with the Rugby 7s Senior Team since 2013.
