Lambton hosts College Night to attract prospective students

Prospective Lambton College students are encouraged to attend College Night at the school Thursday.

The drop-in style event, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., is open to students, parents and friends who have questions about attending Lambton College.

Enrollment Initiatives Coordinator Shawn Fowler said they can learn everything they need to know about programs, the application process and more.

"It is a really great event for any potential student that is looking at coming to Lambton College for the fall to come on campus to meet our program coordinators from our variety of our popular programs, some of our new programs, as well as a lot of our student support services, will be on hand to answer any of those questions that they might have, whether it be about admissions, transfer credits, pathways, anything like that," said Fowler. "We will be doing tours of our brand new facilities as well, so students can get the information they're looking for, check out our new facilities, and then apply right on the spot, so it really is a one-stop-shop for any student that is looking to start in September."

Fowler said it's one of the last enrollment events before Lambton's equal consideration deadline for all full-time programs February 1, so he encourages students to apply and ultimately decide what program they want to enroll in before that date.

As an added bonus, any student who applies to Lambton College during the event will have their $95 application fee waived.
