There’s the chance of snow squalls off Lake Huron for parts of Lambton County Thursday.

Environment Canada upgraded its snow squall watch to a warning for east and north Lambton at mid-morning Thursday.

The weather agency said squalls are expected to develop during the afternoon on cold, brisk northwesterly winds in the wake of a weak low-pressure system.

Up to 10 centimetres of snow, four inches, is possible by the evening with another 10 centimetres possible Thursday night.

Blowing snow will make travel difficult.

The snow squalls are expected to weaken by Friday morning.
