Trafficking charges laid following traffic stop

Sarnia police seized Fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and cash during a traffic stop on Friday morning.

Officers pulled over a vehicle at around 11:15 a.m. and arrested a male driver who was allegedly disqualified.

Police said a search of the suspect led to the seizure of suspected Fentanyl and over $1,300 in cash.

A male and female passenger were allegedly found to be in possession of syringes and a pipe, which had a small amount of methamphetamine.

All three suspects were arrested and taken to police headquarters where more Fentanyl was found.

In total, 3.69 grams of Fentanyl was seized with a street value of $1,845. The vehicle was also impounded for 45 days.

Richard William Emery, 38 of Windsor, Justin John Parslow, 24 of Stratford, and Tara Renee Galenzosky, 46 of Goderich, are all charged with drug trafficking.

Emery is also charged with operating a motor vehicle while prohibited, and two counts of failing to comply with recognizance.
