Record low temperatures were set across southern Ontario overnight, including in Sarnia-Lambton, as a very cold arctic air mass made its way across the region.
Environment Canada said the mercury dipped to -14 C, 7 F, early Wednesday morning, breaking the previous record low for November 13 of -10 C, 14 F, set in 1986.
The national weather agency said colder than seasonal temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend, and we will be flirting with record lows again Friday night.
