UPDATE: Snowy Remembrance Day, threat of snow squalls Tuesday

A Winter Weather Travel Advisory and snow squall watch are posted for Sarnia-Lambton.

Environment Canada said snow will continue through the evening Monday, with 10 to 15 centimetres, up to six inches, possible by Monday night.

A developing low pressure system was tracking south of the lower Great Lakes on Monday.

The weather agency said there's also the possibility of snow squalls developing early Tuesday morning and continuing through the day.

Forecasters said, in the wake of a cold front, a blast of northerly arctic air is expected to flow over the relatively warm waters of Lake Huron. An additional 15 centimetres of snow is possible.

Travel will be impacted Monday and Tuesday due to accumulating and blowing snow. Motorists are reminded to adjust their driving to changing conditions. When you see snow, go slow.
