Snow squall warning ended for Sarnia-Lambton

Snow squalls east of Sarnia weakened Friday afternoon as brisk northwest winds diminished and began shifting southwesterly.

Environment Canada ended its snow squall warning for Sarnia-Lambton at 3 p.m. Friday. Total snow accumulations in parts of north and east Lambton County ranged from 20 centimetres to 25 centimetres. London Airport recorded 27 centimetres of snow, nearly a foot.

Storm totals reached 30 centimetres to 40 centimetres in some snowbelt areas by the time the snow squalls totally dissipated Friday evening.
