A 47-year-old Sarnia man faces trafficking charges after city police seized $4,000 worth of drugs and cash during a traffic stop Wednesday.
As part of an ongoing investigation, Sarnia police vice unit officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Indian Road and Highway 402 at around 3:30 p.m.
Police say a search of the driver and vehicle led to the seizure of 17 grams of cocaine, 203 Percocet pills and 11 oxycodone pills, with a total value of $3,281. Officers also seized $720 in Canadian currency.
Jeffery Martin is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing
