Preparations are underway to deliver the largest vessel associated with NOVA Chemicals Corunna expansion.
A 165-foot polyethylene stripper will be slowly moved from the Courtright supply dock to the Rokeby Line site starting Friday night.
"This is a really exciting milestone for NOVA Chemicals and our construction project for our new polyethylene facility," said communications consultant Meaghan Lawrence.
The oversize load will travel south on St. Clair Parkway to Courtright Line, move east to Highway 40 and then north to the Rokeby Line site.

Staggered power outages and road closures are expected during the 12 hour operation, starting at 9 p.m. Friday until about 9 a.m. Saturday.
"It will arrive at the Rokeby site and will stay in a lay down position for the next several months, until it is ready to be installed on site within its structure. Once we do install it there, the overall height is actually nearly 300 feet."
Some 650 tradespeople are currently on site constructing the new polyethylene facility and expanded Corunna site cracker.
Start-up of the expanded facilities, costing approximately $2.2 billion, is targeted for late 2021.
