OPP say crash claims three lives

Lambton OPP said three people were killed in a single vehicle crash early Friday morning south of Oil Springs.

Police along with Lambton EMS and Oil Springs Fire Department responded to a car crash on Oil Heritage Road at around 1:30 a.m, between Aberfeldy Line and Gum Bed Line.

OPP said three people died on scene, the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Names were being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigators were called in to assist.

Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Oil Heritage Road between Gum Bed Line and Edys Mills Line, and Aberfeldy Line between Esterville Road and Kelly Road were closed until after 2 p.m.
