Suspects arrested following robbery in Thedford

Lambton OPP continue to investigate a robbery that occurred at a business in Thedford Monday September 23.

At about 5:30 p.m. a suspect entered a business on Main Street armed with an edged weapon.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and got into an awaiting vehicle.

OPP, with the assistance from the Anishinabek Police Service, West Region Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team located and arrested three suspects.

Dillon Wellington, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:

-Robbery with Weapon, -Disguise with Intent -Mischief Under $5000 -Assault with a Weapon -Theft of Motor Vehicle -Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, and -Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose Brooke Grant, 23 years-old of Forest, was arrested and charged with:

-Robbery with a Weapon, -Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition -Assault -Theft of Motor Vehicle -Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 -Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 Counts)

Chad Hyslop, 34 years-old of Forest, was arrested and charged with:

-Robbery with a Weapon -Theft of Motor Vehicle -Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 -Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 Counts) -Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid, pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act
