Lambton Public Health encourages residents to visit their new website and let them know what they think.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Sudit Ranade says it brings together content from a number of program areas to be more focused on general information needs.
"We just had some increased requirements in terms of what we were supposed to publicly disclose, and those functions we weren't capable of doing on our old website," said Ranade. "It actually gave us a really good opportunity to do a whole refresh and redesign and think through want we want to say in a totally different way."
The site also includes an interactive map allowing users to view results of public health inspections such as food premises and beaches in near real-time accuracy.
