New house in the cards for lottery winner

A 21-year-old carpenter from Sombra is planning to build himself a house after winning $150,000 with THE BIGGER SPIN INSTANT game.

Nicholas Nantais said he was shocked when he checked his ticket.

"I couldn't believe it," Nantais told officials at the Ontario Lottery Gaming [OLG] Prize Centre in Toronto. "Having started work at such a young age, it feels amazing to have a chance to get ahead in life."

The winning ticket was purchased at Shell on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.

THE BIGGER SPIN INSTANT is a $10 game that combines scratch play with prizes revealed in-store by an animated spinning wheel on the lottery terminal screen and potentially an in-person spin on the wheel at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
