Lambton Public Health is trying to find a dog and its owner after a dog bite incident around noon Sunday.
The health unit said the incident occurred in a convenience store parking lot at the corner of Trudeau Drive and Confederation Street.
The dog, described as a black and tan German Shepherd, was leashed and with the owner at the time of the bite.
The owner is described as a man in his early 30s, 5'9 with a beard -- was sitting on a bicycle at the time.
Anyone with information about the dog and its owner is asked to contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 or toll-free at 1-800-667-1839.
If the dog is not found to verify its health status, the man bitten will require post-exposure rabies shots.
