Warwick murder prelim to continue in August

A preliminary hearing for a Lambton County woman charged with second-degree murder, will continue in August.

After three days of testimony at Sarnia courthouse this week, the hearing has been adjourned until August 12 for further discussions.

Tina George, 35, was arrested in late April of last year following the death of 29-year-old Jesse Storr in the village of Warwick.

She was granted bail in May of 2018.

A preliminary hearing determines whether there’s sufficient evidence for the matter to proceed to trial.

The publication of any evidence given is banned.

Storr, a father of three, was found in a home on Egremont Road at around 2:30 p.m. April 29, 2018 after OPP had responded to a report of an injured man.

He was treated by paramedics but later died of his injuries.
