It's welcome news for those looking for a place to live in Watford.
A new 11-lot subdivision has been given the green light by Warwick Township council.
Scenic Court will be located off of Scenic Drive near the intersection of Nauvoo Road and Confederation Line.
Castell Homes Owner Frank Callipari said it's nice and centrally located.
"There's a new Tim Horton's there, the Foodland, the post office," said Callipari. "Everything you kind of need is really within a ten-minute walk. The arena is across the road, there's a park and a school right there. There's also a big project in the works near the arena that's going to be very beneficial for the area as well."
Callipari said there's a definite need for more housing in the area because homes are selling quickly and there aren't many new builds.
He said a pair of model homes are being built this summer. Prices will be in the high $300,000 range.
Castell Homes has specialized in new home construction for the past ten years.
They've built over 100 houses in London, Lambeth, Mount Brydges, Kilworth, and Komoka.
