Significant damage was done to a variety store in Sarnia early Thursday morning when it was hit by a vehicle.
Sarnia police responded to the Circle K Convenience (Mac's Milk) store at Exmouth Street and Capel Street at about 2:15 a.m.
The building was damaged but no one inside was injured.
Police said the vehicle left the scene and staff were unable to get a licence plate but they describe it as being similar to a Ford Escape, dark in colour, possibly grey or blue.
Investigating officers were waiting for store video.
