Lions add talented guard to men's basketball team

The Lambton Lions men's basketball team continues to take shape for the upcoming OCAA season.

The club has reached an agreement with 18-year-old guard Kameron David from Father Henry Carr high school in Etobicoke.

Lions Head Coach James Grant said he's highly talented, having benefited from attending Michael Jordan's prep school.

"He can handle the ball, shoot the three well, and I think he's going to improve our guard play quite a bit," said Grant. "He's a great passer, and can really get into the lane at will and make good decisions. He's going to be really great in the offensive end and he's a premier ball defender, too."

Meanwhile, Lambton College is hosting the 2020 OCAA men's basketball championship.

Grant expects to have a strong team again next season after making the playoffs in 2018.

Many key players are expected to return to the lineup including Deiondre Reid, Kardon Edwards, and Jason Watts.
