Bluewater Health's chief of staff has been recognized for his dedication to students at Western's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Michel Haddad received an Award of Excellence for Faculty Thursday night in London.
Bluewater Health Board of Directors Chair Paul Wiersma said Dr. Haddad's hard work has helped build the relationship between the university and Bluewater Health, benefiting Sarnia-Lambton residents and medical students.
“He divides his time between administrative duties and medical practice in the intensive care unit and works collaboratively and closely with the executive team, board of directors and professional staff to support the hospital’s strategic mission of high quality, safe, and compassionate patient care,” said Wiersma.
Originally from London, Dr. Haddad completed his undergraduate education at Western University in Physiology and then completed his medical school and surgical training at the University of Ottawa.
