Theriault case still seeking disclosure

A 30-year-old Sarnia man, charged in the city’s first homicide in three years, has been remanded in custody for the sixth straight week.

Matthew Gerard Theriault, in orange prison clothes with his left arm no longer in a cast, had his cast put over to June 6 for disclosure during a brief video appearance in Sarnia court Thursday morning.

Theriault is charged with second degree murder in the death of 26-year-old Jesse Mowat-Caudle.

He died in London hospital after a violent altercation between two men on Maxwell Street near St. Vincent Street on April 17.
