Sarnia police stop overnight break and enter

A 20-year-old man is facing charges in an overnight break and enter to a business in the 1600 block of London Line.

Sarnia police were called to the site around 2:30 a.m. Friday, and said they found a hole cut in the fence.

It's alleged a man, dressed in black, was trying to exit the hole. He allegedly already removed generators, and a lawnmower from the compound and was attempting to steal a barbeque.

Joseph Austin Boose is charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000, possession of break and enter instruments, possession of property obtained by crime, and theft under $5,000.

He was still in custody pending a bail hearing.
