Man killed in fiery Plympton-Wyoming crash identified

Lambton OPP have now released the identity of a man killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash in Plympton-Wyoming May 1.

Police said Philip Price Todd, 42, of Waterford, Michigan died when a vehicle northbound on Oil Heritage Road missed a curve just north of Douglas Line.

The vehicle hit the ditch and then struck trees in a wooded area before becoming engulfed in flames.

The OPP responded to the crash at 9:45 p.m.

Police say the severity of the crash made it difficult but positive identification was achieved Monday with the help of the provincial coroner's office.
