A 25-year-old Sarnia woman faces drug trafficking charges following an investigation into the sale of purple powder fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.
Police said just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were watching a residence in the 100 block of College Avenue North when a suspect arrived and was arrested in the driveway.
A search of the suspect and the execution of a search warrant at the home resulted in the seizure of 17.26 grams of fentanyl, 10.3 grams of meth and $1,050 in cash.
The total street value of the drugs is estimated at $9,630.
Cheyenne Jackson remained in custody on Thursday awaiting a bail hearing on two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
