Brooke-Alvinston’s “Marathon Mom” had another impressive run at this year's Boston Marathon.
Krista DuChene finished her third Boston Marathon with a time of 2:44:12, eight seconds faster than her time in 2018.
The 42-year-old mother of three finished fifth in the women's 40-and-over division, 46th among women, and 592nd overall out of the roughly 30,000 runners.
DuChene competed in her first Boston Marathon in 2005, and finished the race in about three hours.
