January is Crime Stoppers Month and this year's motto is "Say it Here."
Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers President Sean Robbins said he and other volunteers spend every day of the year working to educate the community and assist law enforcement with the flow of information about crime and criminals.
"We're faced with a lot of threats: the growing opioid and fentanyl epidemic, cyber-crime, human trafficking," said Robbins. "But Crime Stoppers believes that, even with such overwhelming issues, everyone in our community has the right to feel safe plus the responsibility to help their neighbours be safe too. We can and should report suspicious or criminal activity anonymously to Crime Stoppers."

Robbins says as many as 600 tips come in each year.
Members gathered at Sarnia Police Headquarters over the weekend for a special flag raising ceremony to mark the month.
