In December, 27 permits were issued for a total of $11.1 million. The largest was $6.2 million for an addition at 2701 Lakeshore Road.
That brings the total for the year to 542 permits worth $92.9 million.
The permits are lagging behind 2017's total of 592 which totalled $107.7 million. That was helped by a $21.7 million permit for an addition to Great Lakes Secondary School.
