Imperial donations top $40K

Christmas has come early for three Sarnia organizations thanks to the generosity of a Chemical Valley company.
Sarnia’s Imperial Oil donated $20,000 to St. Joseph’s Hospice Thursday morning, and have now given over $40,000 to local organizations the week before Christmas.
The manufacturing and petroleum research facility donated $12,000 to Noelle’s Gift on Tuesday, and another $8,000 to the Inn of the Good Shepherd Wednesday.
Sarnia research employees also raised $3,500 to buy gifts for 10 families through the Inn’s adopt-a-family program.
The donations are from Imperial’s annual employee choice program, which allows workers to choose a local organization to donate to that makes a difference in the community.
It was so great surprising Lynn and Cathy with $12,000 for @noellesgift. @ImperialOil employees selected Noelle’s Gift as a recipient of the 2018 Employee Choice initiative. Thanks Jeff and Chris from Imperial for such a wonderful surprise @coffeecultureca #Sarnia this morning. pic.twitter.com/HrKnyBmOUV
