The City of Sarnia is recruiting volunteers for its advisory boards and committees.
There are 16 options, including the Bluewater Trails Committee, Heritage Committee, Police Services Board, Sarnia Historical Society, and Farm Safety Association.
Clerk Dianne Gould-Brown said volunteers are a crucial part of the city's operations.
"They're kind of like the boots on the ground and everyone comes to those committees with various skills and experience and expertise. They provide a lot of input to council and staff."
Applications are being accepted until Monday, November 19 at noon.
Those interested can fill out the online application form at www.clerks.smartsarnia.com or visit the Clerk's department on the second floor of city hall.
