Over 200 delegates have arrived in Point Edward for Kin Canada's 98th national convention which gets underway Thursday.
Tourism Sarnia-Lambton spokesperson Vicky Praill says kinsmen, kinettes and kin have come from across the country, with every province and territory represented.
"It's about a quarter of a million dollars in economic impact that will be staying in our community, so we're definitely excited about welcoming the delegates to Sarnia-Lambton," says Praill.
Praill says the convention goes until Saturday at the Holiday Inn, which has accommodated nearly all of the delegates.
