Third Suspect Sought In Violent Motel Robbery

Sarnia police have released a photo as they search for the last of three suspects still at large, following a violent robbery earlier this month.

Kevin Martin Simpson, 32, of Corunna is wanted on an outstanding warrant for robbery with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, aggravated assault, disguise with intent, and break and enter.

Police say, in the early morning hours of July 19, two men and a woman forced their way into a motel room in the 1600-block of London Line.

A 29-year-old male victim sustained life threatening injuries when he was struck with a metal rod and an axe. A 22-year-old woman who was also in the room at the time was not hurt.

The suspects left with some property belonging to the victims.

On July 25, Natasha Suzanne Brennan, 21, of Sarnia was arrested and faces several charges including four counts of possession of a controlled substance.

James Allan White, 33, of Sarnia was arrested Monday, July 30.

He also faces break-and-enter, robbery, weapons, assault and wearing a disguise with intent charges.

Brennan and White were in custody awaiting bail hearings.
