Rocking The Riverfront In The Point

It's a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, have a few pops and hear some great music at the same time.

Bridge Bash kicks off under the Blue Water Bridges Friday July 13th with two bands, according to Point Edward Optimist Club spokesman Rob Oberholzer.

"Traditionally we have Scott Manery and the Barnburners opening our weekend, followed by Hotel California, an Eagles tribute band," says Oberholzer.

Saturday night it's Tragically Stevie, a Hip and Stevie Ray Von Tribute band, as well as ACDC Tribute Thunderstruck.

A $10 admission fee will be charged both nights and Oberholzer says its a great deal, considering the quality of the talent this year.

"Donations will go to all our of youth oriented projects throughout Sarnia Lambton, as well as continued improvements to the Splash Pad."

Four up and coming young bands, Miss Erin's Girls, Crowned Sour, Grandma Moses and Chalk Line will perform Saturday afternoon from noon until 4pm. There is no cover charge for the family event.
