The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is investing over $800,000 at two Sarnia elementary schools that opened about eight years ago.
At Holy Trinity Catholic School on Lorne Cr., over $266,000 will be spent to reconfigure space to include one new classroom, one resource room and repurposing the existing library resource space into a new Learning Commons area.
A parking lot expansion is planned at St. Matthew Catholic School on Elm Ave.
Over $542,500 will go towards accessibility improvements, relocating existing basketball nets, fencing and landscaping.
The separate board also approved over $307,000 for improvements at Chatham's Ursuline College including a partial roof replacement over the gym area and five classrooms.
