There's plenty of stuff in the community to keep the whole family busy on the holiday Monday.
Petrolia will once again be hosting a number activities to keep everyone entertained.
The day begins with a free breakfast from 8 am to 10 am at 421 Oozloffsky St. It's followed up with a free public swim, free family skate and free bouncy games throughout the afternoon.
While the kids are playing games at the centre, there's also the Optimist Club of Petrolia with a low-cost barbecue .
The forecast is calling for mild temperatures with the possibility of rain, but Director of Marketing Laurissa Ellsworth says rain or shine, it'll be a fun way to spend the day.
"Weather does play a roll. It seems like the days that are a little less pleasant outside brings the people inside for the activities."
At the Lambton Mall, Peppa Pig will have a meet and greet with the little ones from 11am to 3pm. The mall will be open from 11am to 5 pm.
At the YMCA Jerry McCaw Family Centre in Sarnia the centre will be open to everyone for free during the day from 9 am to 4 pm.
And finally, the Sarnia Sting will host the Saginaw Spirit for an afternoon game starting at 2 pm.
